The Stonewall Brigade Band requests your financial support.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so all donations are tax-deductible.
Here are some opportunities:
- You can send a check for any amount to The Stonewall Brigade Band Inc., 600 Thornrose Avenue, Staunton VA 24401.
- If you or your spouse were born on or before June 1, 1939 you may make a tax-free distribution directly to the Stonewall Brigade Band from your traditional or Roth IRA any time through December 31, 2009. This is a valuable opportunity enabling donors to make tax-free gifts to charity from IRA funds that would be subject to tax if withdrawn voluntarily or under mandatory withdrawal retirements. This incentive is especially valuable to senior citizens who are required to make unnecessary IRA withdrawals. You may contriburte up to $100,000 under this provision of the Pension Protection Act of 2006 which was extended by the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008. Contact your financial advisor for further information.
